Just recently, I posted an article on how to beat writer’s block. What I (perhaps) failed to mention there is that you can also source for content via Ghost Blogging. Essentially, ghost blogging is nothing more than “hiring” someone to write content for you, ensuring that it is unique and that you own the rights. While this is the case, what I will will be talking about today is how you can make money online just by writing articles as a GhostBlogger.
Yeah, not everyone has the motivation to build and make money with blogs and do “all those things” required to have one. There could be many reasons why you don’t want to have a blog and there is no point of listing those here. However, for those who do have blogs, you certainly realize “the need for content”. Bloggers who are in business know that having “quality” content, first and foremost, is what makes a blog standout, among other things.
This is where you may come into play. If you love to write, do some research and all that, why not put that to good use and sell articles for “bloggers” who might need them? Regardless whether you have a blog or not, writing content for others, can still make you a little extra, should you have that overwhelming drive of writing like crazy :).
Recently launched, GhostBloggers (ref link) appears to be an interesting marketplace for people who loves to write. I found out about this site via StayOnSearch, where Mark interviews the creator of GhostBloggers. Up until now, there is really not a lot of sites that are specifically tailored towards GhostBlogging. The interesting bit about this site is that it is a marketplace, where people do just one thing, buy and sell content (blog posts), and nothing else. On this site, you can advertise your articles that you are willing to sell for a certain amount. Just make sure that it is reasonably priced for it to sell.
What else? Well, you can write about almost any topic you want and put it up there. There is also a specific area where buyers can post specific requests, and you get notified when there is a specific demand. Just went over there a while ago and there are many requests available already. Here’s a short list of articles and topics that are currently in demand.
- Twitter and facebook marketing tips Business (Marketing) twitter
- Anything about wordpress Technology (Internet) WordPress
- How does solar power work Technology (Technicians) solar power, green energy, solar cell
- Innovations in Amateur Soccer Sports (Soccer) Amateur Soccer, training techniques, soccer equipment
- Articles on eTicketing, event registration, event promotion… Entertainment (Events) event, ticketing, registration, event promotion,
- The Importance of Business Networking for Entrepreneurs Business (Entrepreneurship) business, networking, entrepreneurs, startup
They also have a strict set of rules to ensure that all articles are unique, and you are not allowed to have any contact with the buyer or seller. And, I’m sure that you have many more questions in your mind right now, so, should you be interested in checking this marketplace out, I suggest you read their FAQ section to be well informed. And did I mention that they also have an affiliate program?
That’s it! This is not paid post. I just wanted to share with you this new marketplace, as another form of making money without requiring a blog. Considering that it is relatively new, I think that it could be worthwhile checking it out. If you do, let me know how it goes.
[note]Business Tip: You may already have a “team” of good writers that work for you and it may be more accessible as far as pricing is concerned. OK then, have them write for you, then put it up on GhostBloggers for approval. It’s always worth a shot. You may just make a profit out of it ;-). Shhhh..[/note]
