Wouldn’t that be nice? I’m sure it would be, because this is probably the only gig (tasks) that I have not found on this marketplace called Fiverr. While reading “100 best money moves you can make” today on CNNMoney, I saw this headline – “Best way to get cheap stuff”. This was about Fiverr, a marketplace where essentially you can buy or sell any tasks for nothing more, nothing less than $5. Being mentioned on CNN makes me believe that the marketplace is legit and reliable. So I head over there.

What Is Fiverr?

As I said, Fiverr is a marketplace where anyone can buy or sell “gigs” for a fixed price of $5. Gigs are tasks which can be from designing banners, logos, websites to reading the palm of your hand and predict your future. Fiverr gets to keep $1 for every gig that is sold.

What Can You Buy On Fiverr?

Ah! This is where the title of this post came about. Lots and lots of just about anything. And when I say anything, I mean it. Here are some interesting gigs I found.

Who needs SponsoredTweets? This guy will charge only $0,03 per Tweet. And he has over 10K followers. Isn’t that tempting? 150 Tweets for a measly $5?

Is your blog feeling lonely? Worry no longer, this guy will post 40 high quality comments on your blog for only $5. Plus you get to have an added bonus 🙂

Now this guy, I do not like very much. Why? Because he seriously threatening many poeple I know and put the out of business. The nerve. I don’t even know how he intends to do that. Careful guys, there are also things like this.

How about this? Huh! Like it? Want to make someone jealous 😉

Now, this is good. There must be a catch somewhere? Can you virtually guess?

And just for the fun, I hired someone today to design a logo for me. I have not yet received my order but I already did get a feedback from the provider saying that the work is in progress. Can’t wait to see how it goes. If it turns out to be great, I will never buy anything, anywhere, anymore, before checking it out on Fiverr first, lol.

Can You Make Money With Fiverr?

Definitely. Think of something that you can execute well and effortlessly. Put it up for sale over there and see those gigs coming in. Remember, you have to be creative and offer something that people will want to hire you to do. Complete the job and get paid without risk as Fiverr charges the buyer upfront. Also, there is no minimum threshold for payouts so you can either use your money to buy gigs or cash out via PayPal.

I think it is a brilliant idea from the creators of the website. What do you think? What would you do for $5?
