With the explosion of blogs/websites on the web, making sure that you are found is one major step towards getting more traffic. Traffic from search engines (such as Google) are not only extremely important but best of all, considered free advertising. Getting listed on search engines and directories is a difficult task when you do it manually. While there are directories that I do recommend you submitting your blogs/websites manually, there are search engine submitters that will do your submission for you automatically.

Before you submit, make sure your website is online and functioning. Some engines may require your e-mail confirmation for submission. Use an alternate e-mail only and verify your inbox after submission. I strongly suggest that you repeat your submissions on an interval of three to four weeks only, as overdoing this may get your site banned.
